Thank you for your interest in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
Program at New York Methodist Hospital. The following information
should answer your inquiry regarding any program requirements. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology participates in the
Electronic Residency Application Service/ /(ERAS) and will be accepting
applications this year only through ERAS. Interviews will be held
November 17, 2004 through January 12, 2005 and will only be granted to
those whose applications are complete. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology accepts foreign medical
graduates provided the following requirements are met: * must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or have a green card
* Must have a valid ECFMG certificate After receipt and review of your completed application, including all
necessary documents, a personal interview may be scheduled. This will
include a tour of the facilities and an opportunity to meet current
members of the housestaff and faculty. It is the applicant's
responsibility to be certain that their application is complete. Please
be certain that your address and telephone number are current and
