A 22 yo male diagnosed recently with Asthma

A 22 yo male diagnosed recently with Asthma is started on asthma medications. Two weeks later he presents with nocturnal cough but no other complaints. The most appropriate step in managing this pateint is
1. Stop Asthma meds and Re-evaluate
2. Increase dosage of Asthma meds
3. Prescribe Montelukast
4 Exclude GERD

Asthma medications may decrease LES pressure and cause GERD.
Besides 'nocturnal cough' alone should raise the possibity of GERD
