These are some of the famed programs for the scutwork in NY in the following order from best to worst.
Brookdale university medical center, harlem med. center, Lincoln medical.
Teaching and fellowship opportunities vary but few people to none get into fellowships from these programs, especially Lincoln. You will be asked medical questions at the interview. Brookdale is kind of a name sake university in Brooklyn. In all these programs, all the residents will be IMG's (very img friendly). However, if you have many other interviews, keep them low on your list due to the scutwork and the teaching. They are reviewed at scutwork and so take a look at the resident reviews there. However, if your options are limited, do not hesitate to go there since doing some residency is 10 times better than none at all. GL!
