Thank you for your interest in a PGY 1 position, of which we have eight
(8) positions at this level, at the University of Missouri at Kansas
City Program/Truman Medial Center Hospital Hill/Saint Luke's Hospital,
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology beginning July 1, 2005. The requirements for applying are: two letters of recommendation, a
letter of recommendation from your OB/GYN Chairman, your medical school
transcript, board exam scores, current and valid ECFMG certification,
and a Dean's letter. We do not require that you have prior United
States of America medical experience. Our interviews are by invitation only. When we have received your
complete application via ERAS (Electronic Residency Application
Service), the selection committee will review your application and make
a decision whether or not you will be invited. Either way you will be
notified of the results. The deadline for your completed application is
December 1, 2004. You will need a ECFMG complete, valid, and current certification before
submission of your NRMP match choices. The USLME scores must be at
least a minimum score of passing. We do not require a step 3 score in
order to apply, but if you do have that score please make it available
to us. We do not offer pre-match positions. The date of graduation
should be no more than four years out. Our university sponsors the J-1 visa only. You can also access our web site for information about our OB/GYN
