What are the opportunity after MD in family medicine

Hi, After doing FM you can do fellowship in Geriartrics , sports medicine also if you are interested in Obstretics you can do fellowship in Obstretics.

Family practice is usually geared toward primary care and so there are no fellowship opportunities after family practice with a few exceptions. If you are interested in Fellowships, you should not think of family practice but go for internal medicine. And it is actually abit harder to get into FP than IM for IMG's because many tend to change specialties after an year. So, you have to convince them that you are interested in primary care and not fellowships to get into FP. All the best.
