hi i am an img,recently graduated,scores 80 step1,85 step 2,cs taken results awaited,applied in int med ,paed ,obsgyne, ready with any visa j1,h1.....no us exp yet...planning on a observership in november...though not very sure...do u think i stand any chance of getting interview calls?????????.....
and
what if i take a j1 and get married to a gc holder?????????what happens to my visa then?????/do i still have to take the waiver thing????????[size=18][/size]
maan, i had a similar status as urs... applied with cs scores awaiting...so, did u get any calls, from where? just out of curiosity.... cos i got only one... :cry:

Hi,
As far as chances, it all depends on your entire application and not just scores. Your scores are not that bad and I think you stand a reasonable chance if you follow up carefully and do the interviews well. As per getting married to a citizen on j1, you still need a waiver or prove to the immigration authorities that leaving this country puts extra ordinary stress on a US citizen such as children, or your wife if you have to leave to a country where it may not be safe etc.
