residency
hi..i will be applying for residency next year, and i want to it in something that i can have a balanced life with, i have to give time to my family also..so...which residency has the least hours?

I can understand your concern that you want to be able to spend more time with your family. But, residency is supposed to be intensive and you should not be afraid of the hours of work etc. The number of hours depends on the hospital since the average hours per week vary from program to program. Check with frieda online for average hours. You can still spend some time with your family in most residency programs. If your question is on which specialty, I guess - it depends on the program and not on the specialty. Good luck
