According to stastics what are the average number of interviews needed for a MATCH in psych?
I have 7 interviews. They all went average to well. No prematch offer's though. My credentials 83/87/75, 3 US LORS from dr's in IM, need visa. any visa is fine.
graduation year 17 yrs. Always in the clinical side, with about 54 months experience in psych in my home country.
The average number of interviews is about 8. If you have had 7 so far, you can try for a few more and offer to be available on short notice if somebody cancels. If you did OK, you stand a reasonable chance of matching. As always, make sure you touch base with the programs before Rank order deadline and tell them you are ranking them high. All the best!
