Please advice me at this situation
To all you guys
I took my step2 ck in june ,got my result in July , passed with a score of 81. Today august 27 I got another letter and a new markksheet stating that they had found some discrepancy in my last score report and my score is now reduced to 197 by one score and my new score is 80. I havenot heard of this happening to anybody else. what should I do now? should I ask for a score recheck? I am absolutely scared. In the report it says that they found it during a routine quality check I dont know what is going on.So if anybodyelse had same or similar kind of problems in the past .please give me some advice. kindly reply. Sorry to hear about it. While it is rare, it does happen and there is nothing you can do about it. You can ask for a score recheck but I doubt it is going to change anything except cost you some money. As far as the scores of 80 and 81 are concerned, they are almost the same for the purposes of applying since most programs use round numbers for score cut off. It is either 80 or above or 82, 84 etc. Do not worry too much about it. All the best.
