i have a question i have got 10 year multiple entry b1 /b2 visa i m applying for j2 visa as dependent to my wife if by chance my my visa is rejected will my previuos visa will be valid or it will also be nullified
I believe if they reject the new visa, the previous visas may be cancelled. However, you may want to double check on that by posting in an immigration forum. However, the chance for rejection of J1 is not that high since you are required to go back so it is easier to convince the consular officer of your nonimmigrant intentions. Or, you can apply for change of status while you are here so the chances are even better. All the best.
