Hi,
Step 3 is important for IMG's if they want H1. And most programs do not send interviews unless they passed step 3 for H1. So, coming to the books, Kaplan's material is good. You need to practice the CCS with some friends and try to play with the software they give as sample cases. Other books - Swanson's is also good. Other materials as follows Textbooks
1.Crush the Boards [5 days]
2.Swanson's Family Practice [15-20 days]
3.Ethics in Medicine (U of W site) [1 day]
4.Biostatistics [2 days]
5.Blueprints in OBG [2 days]
6.Blueprints in Peds [2 days]
7.Compass Surgery & Trauma Notes [1 day] CCS
1.USMLE 2003 CD (Software Tutorial + Sample Cases)
2.KAPLAN CCS TUTORIAL
3.VETAN'S LIST OF CCS CASES
4.www.usmle.net (list of recent cases) MCQs
1.Swanson's Family Practice
2.USMLE 2003 CD ? sample MCQs
3.Kaplan Step3 CD ? 200 sample MCQs
4.NMS Review ? 750 questions
5.Kaplan Qbank for Step3
6.www.familypractice.com.Aster's See Aster's notes available on this site for more info on books and to have some nice free notes below http://www.residentscafe.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=list_pages_categories&cid=5
