I just had some queries. I have registered for your IM program requirements service and I was confused about
the ECFMG certificate column. Most of the columns say "Yes" and some say specifically "Req for applying" and some "Not req for applying". So do the columns with "Yes" indicate that you have to be ECFMG certified at the time of application or later on if you interview but before the match. Please clarify this for me as I am not ECMFG certified yet but should be certified by mid october. Can i apply to the places with "Yes" without being certified and risk being rejected even before getting ceritified around mid october or do these places accept applications without ECFMG certification with the view that the candidate will be certified by interview or before the match.

The programs that require ECFMG certificate will consider your application once you are ecfmg certified. You can apply but they will consider you after you are certified. You can apply for these programs and send a follow up email once you are certified. Thanks.
