12 YO type 1 DM. SOB for 1 day. she looks dehydrated. BS 600 BUN 48 Cr 2.8 K 5.9 urine ketone 3+ what is the cause of SOB? a. acute renal failure
b. dibetic nephropathy
c. hyperinsulinomia
d. hypophosphate
[color=black][/color] I think the cause of SOB is acute renal failure precipitated by ketoacidosis, manifested by high k LEVELS.
