Dear Friends,
Many Inernational Medical Graduates have questions relating to immigration and visa's. I have gone through this process as an IMG myself and gained fist hand knowledge on many immigration and visa related issues.
Currently, I am a resident in Internal Medicine and I would like to help those of you that have visa questions by trying to answer them on this forum.
While time is a constraint, I will try to answer as many questions as I can and I request others to feel free to respond to questions if they are familiar with the topic. So, feel free to post your Immigration and Visa related questions here!
Good luck!

The most valid reasons could be to attend any conferences, symposia, workshops etc. I know somebody who was working in Europe and came to the US in order to attend a conference and latter changed status. That was before the change of rules regarding Visitor visa.
So, google on any upcoming conferences, contact them and get some documents from them. Another important reason is - Taking CS exam or for attending interviews. Most of the people I met while interviewing came like this. Just show them the relevent documents. Another reason is - visiting family and friends. Get some letters from them inviting you to visit them Another reason is - Vacation / Visiting the country. 2. How you plan to go back! Show a letter from your employer, your paystubs, your ties to your country such as properties, family etc. It is not that difficult, but you would have to prove that you are not an immigrant. Visit the website of the embassy and they will tell you what documents are needed. Good luck!
